I am a Licensed Master Social Worker and a second degree Black Belt in Taekwondo, and I am passionate about mentoring students and helping students learn. I joined Victory Step because they are dedicated to helping students and emphasize fun while learning. When I am not tutoring, I am a part-time martial arts instructor and I love to read, quilt, craft, work with my professional therapy dog, Airy, and live life with my husband. Past students have said they love working with me because I am super approachable and make the information interesting and easy to remember and the time FUN! I am not afraid to work hard and challenge my students, letting them work towards the answer themselves and guiding as opposed to telling, and I excel at being goofy and laughing with the students to make learning enjoyable and help students feel motivated and confident in their abilities.

Favorite Joke - Two cows are standing out in a field talking. One turns to the other and says "Have you heard about this mad cow disease? Cows just losing their minds... Doesn't that scare you?" The other one thinks for a second and responds "No, because I'm a helicopter"
