We also provide in-home tutoring when a parent is present or sessions at a local library for convenience. Improvement timelines vary, but most students see progress within a few weeks to a few months depending on their starting point.
The ISEE has four levels: Primary (Grades 2-4), Lower (Grades 5-6), Middle (Grades 7-8), and Upper (Grades 9-12). Our tutors tailor instruction specifically for each level and the target schools your child is applying to.
Yes! All plans include essay coaching focusing on brainstorming, structure, and timed practice to help students excel in the ISEE essay section.
Improvement timelines vary, but many students notice progress within a few weeks to a few months. We provide regular progress updates and practice tests to track growth.

Students can take the ISEE up to three times per year during the Fall (Aug-Nov), Winter (Dec-Mar), and Spring/Summer (Apr-Jul) testing windows. We recommend spacing attempts at least 8 weeks apart.

The ISEE consists of Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Mathematics Achievement, and an unscored essay. Each section tests specific skills relevant to independent school admissions.
We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate busy family calendars, including evenings and weekends. Sessions can be held in-home (with a parent present) or at a local library.
We use diagnostic tests, periodic quizzes, and full-length practice exams to monitor progress. Tutors provide detailed reports after each session and adjust instruction based on student performance.
Innovative Curriculum
Our course materials in DFW, Austin, Houston, California, Seattle, and Northern Virginia have been designed by logically deconstructing every official ISEE published that we can get a hold of. On top of going through fundamentals and strengthening a student's foundation, we teach the approaches and strategies relevant to the test (e.g., when to guess, what order to follow in working through the questions, when to look at the answer choices, and so forth).
