Book a Free ConsultationEvanston families applying to independent schools often have North Shore Country Day, Latin, Parker, and Lab on the same list. Each one handles testing a little differently, so we start by mapping your student’s schools and level, then build a plan that covers every section of the ISEE.
Every plan starts with a diagnostic that covers Verbal Reasoning, Quantitative Reasoning, Reading Comprehension, Mathematics Achievement, and the essay. From there your tutor builds a session-by-session plan that mixes sections, builds vocabulary and reading stamina, and gets your student comfortable with the timing.

The ISEE has three levels for older applicants: the Lower Level for students applying to grades 5 and 6, the Middle Level for grades 7 and 8, and the Upper Level for grades 9 through 12. Students can take the ISEE once per testing season: fall (August to November), winter (December to March), and spring or summer (April to July).
Deadlines come up fast. For the 2027-28 school year, Latin’s application deadline is November 30, 2026, and Parker’s is December 1, 2026. We help you plan a test date that leaves room for a second attempt if it is needed.
